Refund to a different payment method

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Refunds must go back to the original payment method you used when booking. Here's why.

Refunds return to the original payment method

When we process a refund, it automatically goes back to the card or bank account you originally paid with. We can't send refunds to a different card or account.

If your original card expired or was replaced

If the card you used has expired or been replaced, your bank will usually credit the refund to your new card. If there's no replacement card, your bank typically delivers the refund another way, like a check or direct deposit to your account.

If your account was closed

If you closed the bank account or credit card you used for payment, contact your bank. They'll be able to tell you how to receive the refund and what you need to do next.
