Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance gives you more flexibility to cancel your booking, but there are specific timing rules you need to follow.
When you can buy it
You can purchase CFAR insurance in one of two ways:
At the time you book your reservation
Within 14 days after making your reservation
When it's not available
You can't purchase CFAR insurance if your check-in date is less than 30 days away.
What it covers
CFAR insurance lets you cancel for reasons that aren't covered by standard travel insurance. It gives you broader protection and more flexibility for your trip.
