You can add travel insurance to your reservation after you book. Here's when you can purchase each type.
Standard travel insurance
You can purchase standard travel insurance after booking if:
Your check-in date is 30 or more days away: You can purchase insurance anytime before your trip.
Your check-in date is less than 30 days away: You have 5 days from the date you made your booking to add insurance.
Cancel for Any Reason insurance
Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) insurance must be purchased within 14 days of your initial booking. After that window closes, you can only purchase standard travel insurance if you still qualify based on the timing above.
