What we allow
Pre-disclosed sensitive content:
Some items such as artwork or decor with sexual themes or culturally significant materials may be permitted if:
The property is not available to travelers under the age of 18.
Their presence is disclosed in the property's listing description.
Travelers should never be caught off guard by unexpected adult content.
What we don't allow
Violent or graphic content:
Hosts must not display violent or graphic imagery, such as depictions of physical harm, in areas shared with travelers unless the content has historical or cultural significance. If such content is present, it must be disclosed in the property's listing description.
Sexually explicit content:
Sexually explicit imagery (photos or videos) or text is strictly prohibited in properties listed on Whimstay.
Artwork or decor with sexually suggestive or explicit themes (e.g., paintings, sculptures) is only permitted if disclosed in the listing description and the property is restricted to adults.
Sexually explicit language:
Hosts may not use sexually explicit language in any written materials, verbal communication, or within the property itself.
Content violating other policies:
Any content that breaches Whimstay's Content Policy or violates intellectual property or privacy rights is not permitted in listings.
Reporting restricted content
If you encounter restricted content that makes you uncomfortable or that violates this policy, please contact Whimstay's customer service team for assistance.
Enforcement and accountability
Whimstay reserves the right to remove content, restrict access to listings, or suspend accounts if this policy is violated.
