For travelers
Respect the property:

Dispose of trash properly in designated areas and avoid creating unnecessary waste or litter.
Follow property rules:
Adhere to the property rules outlined in your booking, including check-in and check-out times, occupancy limits, pet policies, and smoking restrictions.
If unsure about specific rules, please communicate with your host to confirm.
Respect the surrounding community:
Be mindful of noise levels, especially during designated quiet hours.
Park only in designated areas and avoid obstructing neighbors' access or property.
Avoid any behavior that could disturb or inconvenience neighbors, such as disruptive gatherings or an excessive number of visitors.
Communicate promptly:
If issues arise during your stay, contact your host as soon as possible to resolve the matter.
For hosts
Accurate representation:
Provide truthful and up-to-date information about your property, including its amenities, rules, and limitations.
Ensure the listing description and photos accurately reflect the property travelers will stay in.
Set clear expectations:
Clearly outline property rules in your listing, including policies on check-in/check-out, guest limits, noise, pets, and smoking.
Include any unique considerations for the property, such as parking instructions or community-specific guidelines.
Maintain a safe and clean space:
Provide a property that is clean, safe, and ready for travelers upon check-in.
Address maintenance or safety concerns promptly to avoid disruptions during a traveler's stay.
Communicate responsibly:
Respond promptly and respectfully to traveler inquiries or issues, ensuring open communication throughout their stay.
For everyone
Honesty and integrity:
Represent yourself truthfully, including accurate account details and communication with others.
Avoid misrepresenting intentions or falsifying information during the booking process.
Respect others:
Treat all members of the Whimstay community, including travelers, hosts, and neighbors, with respect and consideration.
Avoid any behavior that is discriminatory, disruptive, or threatening.
Prohibited activities:
Unauthorized gatherings, excessive noise, and property misuse are not allowed.
Avoid tampering with personal property or accessing restricted areas on the property.
