What we don't allow
Refusal of service or unequal treatment:
Travelers and hosts may not deny service or treat others differently based on protected characteristics or perceived protected characteristics.
Examples of prohibited behavior include:
Declining or canceling a booking based on protected characteristics.
Imposing different terms, conditions, or property rules, such as additional fees or limitations, based on these characteristics.
Stating a preference for or against travelers with specific characteristics in listings or messages.
Discriminatory language and behavior:
Whimstay prohibits language or actions that demean, insult, or stereotype individuals based on their identity or characteristics. This includes:
Slurs, hate speech, or rude language.
Any other forms of verbal, written, or physical harassment rooted in discrimination.
Hateful symbols and content:
Symbols, images, or objects that promote hate, violence, or discrimination are not permitted in Whimstay properties or communication. This includes items or imagery associated with hate groups, stereotypes, or harmful ideologies.
Our commitment to the community
Respect and tolerance: All members of the Whimstay community are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity in every interaction.
Accountability: We reserve the right to suspend or remove anyone from our platform who violates this policy.
How to report discrimination or harassment
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this policy, please contact Whimstay's customer service team. We're here to help and will investigate all reports thoroughly and fairly.
If you ever feel that your personal safety is at risk, contact local emergency services immediately.
